Boaz Injege, MSc Student

Boaz is an MSc student interested in stress, physical activity, and mental health in Black Canadians. He holds a B.A in psychology from the University of Ottawa.

He is driven by three broad research questions: what are the factors affecting the mental health of Black Canadians? How does one design a cost-effective physical activity intervention geared toward improving the mental health of a minority population? And what are the neurobiological processes underlying the therapeutic effect of physical activity on mental disorders?

When not nerding out, Boaz loves playing football (a.k.a soccer in some weird parts of the world…) and is a recent convert to film photography.
